Klucel G is a glue in powder form (packed per kilo) or premixed. It is used for the restoration and conservation of paper and (leather) book covers; with or without the application of Japanese paper.
The powder can be dissolved with water (temperature may not be warmer than 38˚ C), methyl and ethyl alcohol. It is extremely flexible, without containing any plasticizers.
Specifications: After preparation Klucel G has an average viscosity of 150 – 400 MPAS (at a 2% solution) and a pH of 5.0 – 8.5 (at a 1% solution).
